Soaring over your exhibit, our life-size Pteranodon animatronic recreates the famous Late Cretaceous pterosaur with a 6-meter wingspan and its distinctive long head crest. The lightweight fiberglass frame and flexible silicone membrane wings allow realistic flapping motion, while the head turns and the long pointed beak opens and closes. Eyes blink and the body sways gently as the wings beat in a programmed sequence. A piercing cry from the built-in speaker completes the flying reptile effect. Suspended overhead or mounted on a high perch, this piece fills vertical space and adds variety to any dinosaur collection at museums, zoos and shopping mall atriums.
