Giant Ground Sloth (Megatherium) Animatronic

This towering ground sloth animatronic presents Megatherium americanum in a commanding stance that shows off its hooked claws and thick, shaggy coat. Every fold of the hide, knuckle joint, and textured fur tuft is sculpted by hand for authenticity that educates as it entertains. Smooth pneumatic and servo actuators drive arm raises, claw extension, head turns, blinking, and a gentle swaying gait that mimics the creature's ponderous movement. The sound package includes low grunts, snorts, and heavy breathing mixed for a convincing live-animal atmosphere. Weather-resistant construction and a rust-proof frame suit outdoor prehistoric trails, science centers, and zoos, with optional narration sharing Ice Age facts. Its sheer scale and lifelike detail consistently become the photograph people remember from the visit.

Every Giant Ground Sloth is covered by a 12-month warranty, a two-year spare-parts commitment and on-site installation support from our own engineers. Tell us your venue, theme and budget — we will tailor the size, movements, sound and finish to your project.
